What to read...

Hey guys! I have recently got a lot of books. Aside from those, I also have books I have not read. There are also a TON of titles out there I want to pick up. I volunteered at my library today, and I realized something. I don't know what I want to read! Right now, I am picking through a book of short stories, and a book of diary entries. I am doing this because I can not pick what I want to read. SO, if you were in my position, considering the books I have been getting, what should I read next?

Kiss of Death by Rachel Caine. *Morganville 8

Vampire musician Michael Glass has attracted the attention of a big- time producer who wants to cut a demo and play some gigs-which means Michael will have to enter the human world. For this, he's been assigned escorts that include both a dangerous immortal as well as Michael's all-too-human friends. And with that mix of personalities, this is going to be a road trip from hell... - Goodreads.

Oh Shane. In Kiss of Death, (morganville 8) Shane makes me love him even more! He really shows Claire that he cares. Out in the real world, you see how different Morganville really is. I cant wait to see what has been going on back in Morganville! Its hard to say anything else without giving something away this far into a book series, but it seems each book gets better. Definitely check it out!

Haul, Explanation.

Im sorry! I know I said about 5,000 times I would have a haul up on Friday, but things came up that I could not. First, I wanted to wait a day to post it because I was very angry at Barnes and Nobles and wanted to "cool off". Barnes and Nobles bascily NONE of the books I went to get. Shouldnt a book store as large as that have books in popular series? Anyway,  I left and went to a local book store to get what I wanted.

The Morganville Vampires Volume 4. Rachel Caine
Kisses from Hell .Various
Fire. Kristen Cashore

Also, I got some makeup and clothes at the mall that day.
Explanation. Like I said, I wanted to wait a day to post this haul because I was angry with barnes and Nobles. So that puts us at Saturday. Early Saturday morning I recieved a call from family that they had come home as a surprise. I spent all day with them, staying with them at my gram`s house. Then, Sunday we out to lunch, and then to a local amusment park. I got home VERY late and collasped as soon as I sat down. Monday, different family came home and I spent the day with them. It was so exciting to see family I hardly ever see! I hope you all understand. Posts will pick up again, starting today. Thank you!

Surviving Ballet

Today I had my first ballet class. Let me just start by saying OUCH! I give dancers soooo much credit! After the first 30 min I could definitely feel it in my legs. I just basically learned the five positions and practiced them doing different exercises. We stretched, then began. In each pose I had to go up and down on my toes, slowly, 15 times. My teacher, Lisa, said next time we will be doing them 20 times, then all the way up to 50.
"yayy!" she said sarcastically.
Then, I did pleeas (spelling?) and grand pleeas for about 10 min. This of course meant I had to learn the arm movements.
Then, in each of the five poses, I had to take baby steps and walk up and down a line of tape.
Oh! Did I mention the whole time I was on my toes? What did I get myself into....

Face products that work!

The face products that work well for me!
Clear Pore oil-eliminating astringent. Neutrogena. I use this with a cotton ball and dab it on where I have a breakout. Downfall- dries your skin out if you get it anywhere where there is no problem.
Blemish fighting ice cleanser. Biore. I use this to wash and clean my face. I take one to three squirts and wash my face with luke warm water. Downfall- makes your face tingly for a while
Extra gentle cleanser. Neutrogena. I use this when my face is being sensitive, for example when I have a sunburn. It is fragrance free, so if you have sensitive skin I sugest this cleanser. Downfall- Leaves a thin residue that I wash off with water.
Ultimate Sheer Tinted moisturizor. Wet N Wild. I use this in the summer as my mosisturizor and foundation. I am in the color 181A beige. It moisturizes my skin well, and covers anything on my face. Downfall- can look orange if you put on too much.
Mini Kabuki brush. Bareminerals.  I use this to buff on the Wet N Wild Tinted Moisturizor. I have an eco tools one I like better, but I use it for something else.  Downfall- bristles are stiff.
Complexion Primer potion- Urban decay. If you have oily skin, or just want really good coverage, apply this before your foundation. It works wonderful and keeps your makeup on all day! If you know you are going to be sweating or having a stressful day, I would put this on in the morning and you wont have to worry about powdering throughout the day! Downfall- has a smell, exspensive.

Super 8 movie review!

I saw super 8 last week, and I have to say that it was one of my favorite movies in a while. The main actors are kids, but they are phenomenal!! Also, the entire thing keeps you guessing and you want to see what happens in the end. It was a very "jumpy" movie, and I kept jumping in my seat!
I live in the area where they filmed over half of the movie so it was amazing! I want to be in acting at some point and I loved the ability to look at a scene and know where they shot it, what they added and how they did it. I loved the entire thing though!
If you like Sy-fy ish movies, creepy movies, and mysteries, you will love Super 8!

"Strength in Numbers" tag

This tag was done by Rubenesquex3 and I thought it was such an important tag it had to do it!

QUESTIONS:

CONFIDENCE:
-Have you ever felt unconfident before and why?
Yes. There have been times when I have not felt confident, but in the last few months I really gained confidence. I am a confident person today.

-Do you loose confidence when you don't feel 'pretty'?
Not really. I know who I am on the inside and what I stand for, no matter what I look like on the outside.

-What makes you feel confident about yourself?
My sense of humor, my ability to make someone smile, and knowing that I can make someone`s day better. Also, I know that I am a good person at heart, and I try to do the right thing.

BULLYING:
-Have you been bullied?
Yes but when I was young. I was in first grade and the older kids on the bus would make pick on me. I do not even remember why today, but it got bad enough that I was faking sick so I didnt have to go to school and ride the bus. A guidence consoler helped me through and everything was resolved.

-Did you every bully someone?
Not intentionally. I may have said some things that hurt someones feelings, but no I have not bullied someone.
-Whether you were bullying or being bullied, how'd it make you feel?
Horrible, alone, scared.

-How do you deal with bullying?
I personally am not bullied so I, thankfully, do not have to worry about it.

INNER BEAUTY:
-Do nicer people seem more 'beautiful' to you?
Yes. Beauty is something that comes from the inside and is projected out. If your nice , kind, and genuine you a beautiful person to me.

-Does makeup make you feel prettier?
Yes. I think it does so because I feel it covers up some part of me and does not make me feel as vulnerable.

-What do you think of the expression 'beauty comes from the inside?'
As you can see by my earlier question, I think it is something of fact.

I TAG YOU TO DO THIS TAG!

Blood Promise, Home Library, Preforming, New Room, and Writing

Hey guys! So, I just walked in from singing at my recital. I sang On My Own from Le Mis. The song went pretty good, although I almost tripped over the mic cord(: Every time I walk out on stage, I feel confident, like I am some one else.

Also, I finished reading Blood Promise today, and moved on to Spirit Bound. I LOVE these books. Until I read the Morganville Vampires, it was my favorite by a long shot, but now it had some competition. The two book series tie for first place on my shelf, with House of Night as second.

Eventually, I hope to have a library in my home. A room full of bookcases , comfy chairs, and warm lighting to read in. I have two bookcases in my room now, but neither are full. That brings me to my next topic. My new room. I just redid my room, and I love it. Its much more sophisticated, and much more "me". I have two mirrored closets, two book shelves, a dresser, and my TV. Along with my bed of course.  I just love it! The book cases bring a smile to my face everytime I look at them.

Also, I have been writing a ton! I wrote some chapters in the book I am writing, a song, and some poems. I go on kicks where I write a lot, and then some times when I do not write for a while.

Until next time,
   - Jordan

I might do a room tour once I get everything organized later tomorrow or the next day. 2. School got out, finals are over! Now I have time to breathe. 3. I have been reading like crazy! I want to finish all the books I have started and just have not finished. In the past two days I finished Delirium, Violets are Blue, Shadow Kiss, and I am almost done with Falling under.

I will be doing a few reviews for some of the books I finish up this week. I am trying not to read anything huge, because I have the next Morganville Vampires book coming in the mail. Yayy!

Today, Monday, I went shopping and got a ton of cool stuff to haul for you guys. Tomorrow, I will be filming videos to upload to the blog AND YouTube, so look out for that.

I have also had a TON of auditions and shows lately, so I have managed to stay pretty busy.

Until next time

Book Review for Across the Universe by Beth Revis.

Seventeen-year-old Amy joins her parents as frozen cargo aboard the vast spaceship Godspeed and expects to awaken on a new planet, three hundred years in the future. Never could she have known that her frozen slumber would come to an end fifty years too soon and that she would be thrust into the brave new world of a spaceship that lives by its own rules.
Amy quickly realizes that her awakening was no mere computer malfunction. Someone-one of the few thousand inhabitants of the spaceship-tried to kill her. And if Amy doesn't do something soon, her parents will be next.
Now Amy must race to unlock Godspeed's hidden secrets. But out of her list of murder suspects, there's only one who matters: Elder, the future leader of the ship and the love she could never have seen coming.
-Goodreads.

Okay, so. Let me start by saying how unique this book was. It was like nothing I have ever read, and totally and completely insane! Beth Revis is a genius!! This was one of the best books I read in 2011 so far. The main characters, Amy and Elder are both on Godspeed, a spaceship in space. The ship was SO costraphobic that a couple of the parts in the book were making me want to go outside and kiss the ground.
I felt sympathy for Amy`s character, but also liked that she does not give in/up. I dont want to say to much, and give anything away, but it was just soo good!
I love the tiny string of romance going through the book. It doesnt take away from the story, but just adds something. Also, I love how all the characters are well rounded and have personalities.
What I didnt like was...um..well,  nothing(: A pure pleasure to read!

Pirates of the Caribbean 3D vs. Pirates of the Caribbean

Hey guys! So I went with my friend and saw Pirates of the Caribbean with my friend Monday, but this time I was it without the 3D. I liked it a LOT better with out the effects.
Why did I like it better? 1. The 3D glasses made everything VERY dark, and the movie is already shadowed, so in some parts it was hard to see detail. 2. The 3D was not that good, and only a few parts were noticable. 3. 3D glasses are dirty! Whenever the movie guy handed us the glasses in the little plastic bad, they already had finger prints on them! Gross!
For the movie though, I loved it even more the second time. I think this was because I caught some stuff I had missed in the first movie, and understood what was happening more.
GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!(:
