Book Review for Across the Universe by Beth Revis.

Seventeen-year-old Amy joins her parents as frozen cargo aboard the vast spaceship Godspeed and expects to awaken on a new planet, three hundred years in the future. Never could she have known that her frozen slumber would come to an end fifty years too soon and that she would be thrust into the brave new world of a spaceship that lives by its own rules.
Amy quickly realizes that her awakening was no mere computer malfunction. Someone-one of the few thousand inhabitants of the spaceship-tried to kill her. And if Amy doesn't do something soon, her parents will be next.
Now Amy must race to unlock Godspeed's hidden secrets. But out of her list of murder suspects, there's only one who matters: Elder, the future leader of the ship and the love she could never have seen coming.
-Goodreads.

Okay, so. Let me start by saying how unique this book was. It was like nothing I have ever read, and totally and completely insane! Beth Revis is a genius!! This was one of the best books I read in 2011 so far. The main characters, Amy and Elder are both on Godspeed, a spaceship in space. The ship was SO costraphobic that a couple of the parts in the book were making me want to go outside and kiss the ground.
I felt sympathy for Amy`s character, but also liked that she does not give in/up. I dont want to say to much, and give anything away, but it was just soo good!
I love the tiny string of romance going through the book. It doesnt take away from the story, but just adds something. Also, I love how all the characters are well rounded and have personalities.
What I didnt like was...um..well,  nothing(: A pure pleasure to read!
